Our key focus in Asia is placements of US attorneys, but we also have placed numerous Hong Kong, Australian, Singapore, and UK-qualified attorneys.
We have made numerous in-house placements, with a particular focus on tech companies, funds, and family offices.
Evan Jowers has made over 500 US associate, counsel, and partner placements in Asia since 2006. He has placed and long-term advised many of these key hiring partners in their own careers, as well as helped build their teams.
During his eight years as a US Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Davis Polk & Wardwell, Alejandro Vargas worked alongside many of the same partners and other legal leaders in China and Southeast Asia.
USA
In the Fall of 2018, we launched our US Operations which focuses on attorney placements into the M&A, technology, emerging companies, venture capital, and entertainment / media sectors.
However, we are full-service and have extensive experience in attorney placements across various corporate, finance, and litigation practice areas.
Since launching, our US team has made placements in New York, San Francisco / Silicon Valley, Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC / NoVA, Austin (Texas), Ann Arbor (Michigan), Seattle, Atlanta, and Philadelphia.
We have also made placements of attorneys in fully remote roles and also have a successful track record of placing Canadian associates at top Canada law firms into US BigLaw.
